Our second event of the year will focus on abortion in the United Kingdom.
The discussion will focus on challenges to abortion access in the UK including decriminalisation, recruitment and conscientious objection. So the conversation will be fascinating, but will require some trigger warnings!

Sir John Montgomery
-
In addition to being Professor of Health Care Law at UCL, Sir Jonathan Montgomery is co-chair of the Moral and Ethical Advisory Group within the Department of Health and Social Care. He was chair of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics 2012-17, and the Human Genetics Commission 2009-12. He was awarded a knighthood for services to Bioethics and Health Care Law in 2019. His views will be personal, not representative of any of these organisations.

Dr Corrina Horan

Dr Corrina Horan is Education representative of Doctors for Choice UK and lead for Education for Choice. She is an Academic Trainee in Community Sexual and Reproductive Health in London, and is currently researching contraception and abortion within Relationships and Sex Education.

Katherine O'Brien

Katherine O’Brien is Associate Director of Communications and Campaigns at BPAS, and leads on the charity’s advocacy work on issues ranging from affordable emergency contraception, tackling barriers to abortion access, and ending the NHS IVF postcode lottery. Prior to joining BPAS, Katherine worked in Parliament.​
