Our third event of the year will focus on maternity and parenthood amongst medics.
We will be discussing maternity and parenthood among doctors, talking about the difficulties in having family, the support available to doctors trying to conceive and the stigma that surrounds maternity.

Speakers:
Dr Rima Chakrabarti
Rima has a background in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and leads the Gender Equality Division of UCLMS EDI.
Her interest is improving awareness of and breaking down the barriers that affect both genders when it comes to health and wellbeing.
Sally Roberts
Sally is a senior staff nurse at Sheffield Children's Hospital. In 2020 she had two miscarriages and from these decided to set up a 'baby loss and infertility staff support group' at her Trust. The group has been accessed by over 30 people whilst it has been running for the last 11 months.

Dr Lizzie Wortley
Lizzie has been a paediatric registrar for 8 years. She specialises in young people's health and health improvement. Along the way she has been flagging up and attempting to support her colleagues in issues such as fertility; miscarriage; and life on a rota after having children.
