The Gender Equality Network

We're so excited to announce we have created the Gender Equality Network; a place to learn and talk about the intersections between gender and medicine.​

​

We will be discussing different issues pertaining to medicine and gender, exploring topics ranging from the androcentric nature of medicine (and thus our ability to care for female patients) to the impact of clinical misogyny and bigotry on us as practitioners.

​

Each meeting will be moderated by a member of the EDI Gender Equality Group and will feature expert panellists. We want to create a forum where we can share and learn from each other, so each event will be interactive and discursive.
